Fait Clic has launched Saturn-8, a vintage polyphonic synth instrument based on the Jupiter-8 and JX-8P synthesizers by Roland.
Saturn 8 is a 8 voices polyphonic Subtractive synthesizer with 2 VCO/DCO ( Sine, Saw1,Saw2, saw3, Square, Triangle, Noise, Pink noise) with octave, detune (semitones + cents), 1 switchable LFO, 1 multiband filter based upon the analog Curtis CEM3310 filter (1979) and the Oberheim SEM State Variable Filter (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, allpass), 2 ADSR envelopes (VCF & VCA), Chorus FX, etc. …
Saturn-8 is based upon Roland Jupiter-8 & JX-8P architecture. Not a full recreation of them. Some originals features not implemented, new features (not included in the original hardwares) added.
The chorus is based upon the Juno-106/JX-8p BDD chorus, but instead of having just 2 presets buttons on the GUI you have access to all the settings via knobs!
Saturn-8 for Windows (VST) is on sale for 19.90 EUR.
Also released is Junior-1006, a synthesizer instrument inspired by Roland’s Juno-106 synthesizer.
Virtual vintage 8 voices polyphonic Subtractive synthesizer with 1 DCO ( Square, Pulse,Sawtooth, noise) with range + 1 Suboscillator (linked to DCO) + 1 Noise level slider, 1 triangle LFO, 1 multiband filter based upon the analog Curtis CEM3310 filter (1979) and the Oberheim SEM State Variable Filter (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, allpass), 1 ADSR envelope (DCO, VCF & VCA), Chorus FX, etc. …
Junior-1006 IS NOT A PURE RECREATION OF ROLAND JUNO-106 ! It’s just inspired by the Junio-106, but with some hardware functions removed, new functions added. You can nevertheless obtain sounds very close to the original.
