Drum Werks has announced the release of the Bay Area 2 Drum Samples for Metal and Hard Rock Drum Kit, a powerful collection of drum and cymbal samples optimized for use wherever hard-hitting drums are essential.
With an aggressive modern drum mix, the Bay Area 2 drum samples will cut through the densest of modern hard rock and metal mixes.
The drum library features a Tama Starclassic Maple drum kit and a wide array of Meinl cymbals. The Tama Starclassic Maple drum samples include a 22” x 18” kick, 14″ x 5 1/2″ snare, 12″x 9” rack tom, and 16″ x 16″ floor tom. The cymbals included are all from the Meinl Classics Custom Series: 14″ Hihats, 16″ Medium Crash, 10″ Extreme Metal Splash, 22″ Ride, and 18″ Medium Crash.
All drums and cymbals have been performed with a full range of articulations, extensively multi-sampled and offered as nearly 400 individual samples (630 MB total sample content). Additionally, the drum and cymbal samples have been mapped for use with Native Instruments’ Kontakt and Slate’s Trigger drum replacement software. Users may also use the 24-bit WAV files in any other virtual instruments or sound replacement software compatible with 24-bit stereo WAV audio files.
