The raw power of vintage drums in a lively room! Really cool sounding vintage drums sampled for Kontakt! This kit was recorded to give you a raw, powerful sound of the drums just like you are playing them in a room!
Great care was taken when placing the mic to get this great drum and the room sound. Careful placements of the acoustic panels around the drums to help get the best parts of the room ambiance!
Recorded straight to tape and some dirt and vibe added with nice outboard gear. Think of old Led Zeppelin records, neo psych bands like Tame Impala, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Temples etc.
