Splice Sounds has released X&G: Sound Vault Vol. 2, a collection of 447 loops and samples by Xian and Gaszia aka X&G.
You’ve heard their eclectic, multi-textured sound on releases with collaborators such as Josh Pan, Medasin and Madeaux. They’ve put out music with electronic stalwart labels OWSLA and Elysian. With their new record “Persona” in tow, X&G have taken their iconic, punishing electronic-trap hybrid sound out from their hometown of Salt Lake City to venues around the world.
X&G continue their Sound Vault sample pack series with their first ever pack for Splice. In it, you’ll hear “weird textures and other unique sounds to create a layered and textured atmosphere,” alongside “typical sounds one would find in a sample pack, yet with a twist.” Take your productions “to the zoo” with these next-level metallic leads, ambient soundscapes, and punishing rhythms.
