Applied Acoustics Systems has announced the release of Octagon, a new sound bank for the Chromaphone 2 acoustic object synthesizer instrument and AAS Player.
Octagon is the second Chromaphone 2 title by Poland based Daniel Stawczyk aka Status.
Octagon proposes a 149-preset collection of carefully designed arpeggiated layered sounds. Packed with a vast amount of arpeggiated synths, pads, basses, chords, stabs, flows, percussions, chimes, and angular special effects.
“Once again Daniel Stawczyk delivered. Octagon sometimes pushes forward the richness of Chromaphone 2 to its full potential, but at others opts for depth, finesse, and refined delicacy,” said Eric Thibeault, product designer at Applied Acoustics Systems, “Octagon somehow inspires you to write music and unlocks your creativity at every turn.”
Octagon is regularly priced at $39 USD but until January 22nd, 2018, it is available at the introductory price of $19 USD. To mark the release, the Chromaphone 2 synthesizer and sound packs are offered at 50% off until January 22nd, 2017.
The instant download delivery package includes both a Chromaphone sound pack file and the free AAS Player plugin. The AAS Player plug-in runs on both Windows and Mac OS X and supports the VST, Audio Units, AAX Native, RTAS, and NKS plugin formats.
