Voxengo has announced an update to its Elephant mastering limiter effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
Version 4.6 includes some improvements including high resolution screen support and CPU performance.
The most remarkable feature of this signal limiter is its sonic transparency. Elephant brings sound limiting and loudness maximization without audible “fuzz” and “pumping” sonic artifacts.
Changes in Elephant v4.6
- Reduced loud pop with “Eval” enabled on playback start.
- Added Retina support on macOS, and automatic high-resolution UI size adjustment on Windows.
- 10% lower CPU usage on AVX2-capable processors (in 64-bit mode).
