IK Multimedia has released version 1.1 of AmpliTube Fender, the official Fender amplifier and effects software suite for Windows and Mac.
With a collection of 45 pieces of gear collected from the most sought after classic and modern Fender amps (including the ’65 Twin Reverb, ’57 Deluxe, ’59 Bassman LTD, ’64 Vibroverb Custom, Super-Sonic, Metalhead and many more), cabinets, stomp boxes and rack effects, AmpliTube Fender sets a new standard for software amplifiers.
New in AmpliTube Fender v1.1
- Fender Compressor Stomp: Requested by guitarists wanting a better way to boost their guitar signal before it hits the amplifier, the Fender Compressor model, based on the Compressor in the Fender Cyber-Twin(R) SE, provides four levels of gain boost/compression. Use it elsewhere in your pedal board chain to create dramatic “attack” effects.
- Fender “Wah” – The new Fender Wah, based on the Wah effect in the Fender Cyber-Twin(R) SE, serves up two flavors of Wah: the more traditional “Cryin'” style, and the “Clyde McCoy” voiced variety. Both offer a wide range of adjustment, including frequency range (minimum and maximum) and overall output volume.
- Fender Tremolo Stomp – Now you can get more front-end flexibility in tone shaping by adding the magic of Fender Amplifier Tremolo to any non-tremolo amp model. The new Fender Tremolo Stomp gives you the classic amp tremolo settings, speed and intensity, plus allows you to sync your effect to your tempo when using as a plug-in.
- Fender ’63 Reverb Tank Rack Unit – Heard on thousands of records from Surf to Soul, Country to Punk, the Fender ’63 Reverb is THE definitive sound of reverb. The new tube-modeled rack unit allows you control how hard the signal hits the reverb tank with the “dwell” control, and the “dryness” or “wetness” amount of the effect output with the Mix control, plus adjust the flavor of the 6v6 output tone with a 12AX7 based “tone” knob.
AmpliTube Fender v. 1.1 is a free upgrade for registered users of AmpliTube Fender. A fully functional 10-day demo version is available for download.
