Bedroom Producers Blog has announced the release of GB DrumBox, a free virtual instrument in collaboration with SampleScience featuring GameBoy sounds.
GB DrumBox is a Game Boy virtual instrument developed by SampleScience. It is based on a set of Game Boy sounds that were recorded by Bedroom Producers Blog. The instrument is available in VST, VST3, and AU plugin formats.
The instrument contains twelve drum kits, each with a set of eight Game Boy samples. The user can adjust the volume, pan, and decay time for each channel. The filter cutoff, reverb level, attack time, and modulation are applied globally. The plugin also offers multi-out functionality. If multiple outputs are used, the global filter and reverb effects will turn off automatically.
GB DrumBox was designed as a fun instrument for musicians who want to use authentic Game Boy sounds in their music.
