Sample Tools by Cr2 has announced its upcoming sample pack Purple Disco Machine Vol. 1, the first title in a brand new exclusive artist series.
Having started his career in 2009, Purple Disco Machine is now an internationally acclaimed DJ/producer infusing dance floors all over the globe with funky Disco House. Aside from doing a lot of solo work, he’s collaborated with artists such as Aeroplane and Aloe Blacc. He has also done many high profile remixes including those for Fatboy Slim, Foster the People, Dr Packer and recently for Mark Ronson.
Produced by PDM himself, this pack encapsulates his signature sound providing you with the ultimate Disco House groove. Want to create dance floor destroying funk? Look no further! Stylish synth bass loops as well as funky live bass riffs recorded through a warm vintage amp. Guitar loops that will make you want to dance, defined synth hits to throw into your favourite sampler, and scintillating synth patterns that will light up your productions. Furthermore, this pack includes a selection of crispy signature drum hits as well as groovy drum loops that will shake up any dance floor.
To top it off, included in the pack are two extensive kits to give you a first-hand insight into how PDM creates his Disco House club bangers. All elements of the kits are broken down into stems and corresponding MIDI files are provided for you to experiment with.
