IQ Samples has released its sample pack Russian Heart, a collection of fresh loops and samples by 813.
Russian Heart features vocal loops and chants, the sounds of various traditional instruments such as the balalaika, svirel, treshetka, and more.
In order for such a sound to appear, time had to pass. A lot of time! Music, appearing and disappearing for centuries, left behind a wide layer of sound, absorbing how people live at the moment.
This pack touches one of these layers, mixed with the present and also looking to the future. A multicultural cocktail from continents and time, with Hypercolor of the inner world. The voices and instruments of that time begin to sound new in the context of modernity, forming fresh ideas.
813 (Artist of Mad Decent, Trekkie Trax, Atlantic Records, Hyperboloid) who worked on this samplepack tried to carefully transfer aspects of musical traditions and set a new Hypercolor vector of their movement into the future.
