Inertia Sound Systems has announced an update to the Granulizer 2 granular synthesizer instrument intended for creative sound design.
It features a very versatile DSP engine that is able to deliver a wide sound palette, with sounds varying from metallic crunch and grainy fuzziness to smooth reverb-like tones, spectral widening or chaotic soundscapes.
Version 2.2 features a cleaner interface, a new system that offers packages of presets, a dark theme, a new analog modeled resonant filter (LP/HP) with dedicated envelope, and a redesigned Amp stage with an updated ADSR envelope.
Further improvements include:
- Scrolling through wave view always keeps the selected area on the view.
- Added vertical wave zoom with Alt + vertical mouse drag.
- Lots of CPU optimizations saving up to 20% CPU.
- Lots of bug fixes that caused random plugin crashes.
- New factory presets.
Granulizer 2 is available in VST/VST3 and AU plugin formats for Windows and Mac at Inertia Sound Systems and from distributor Plugin Boutique. It is currently on sale for 40 EUR (50% off regular).
