HelloSamples has announced its new sample pack Beatbox Vocal Percussion, a collection that aims to bring the original fat ’90s beatbox sound.
The Beatbox – Vocal Percussion pack is our homage to the noble art of mimicking drum machines (typically a TR-808), using one’s mouth, lips, tongue, and voice. It may also involve vocal imitation of turntablism, FX and other musical instruments.
It has a strong connection with hip-hop culture, often referred to as its “fifth element”, although it is not limited to the genre and can be found on other musics such as brazil funk, pop, experimental & electronica.
