Spitfire Audio has announced availability of its new Originals series virtual instrument library Firewood Piano, a stunning-sounding upright piano bursting with character.
The latest title in the series of instant library tools was produced from performances by Jeremiah Fraites of The Lumineers, an American folk rock band based in Denver, Colorado.
The Firewood Piano name came from something that piano tuner Michael Jackson once said since the faithful Fraites’ spinet was so obviously old and battered: “All this is good for is firewood!”
A detailed upright piano, with a cracked bridge, creating unique resonances. Performed by Jeremiah Fraites of The Lumineers. Recorded at Colorado Sound Studios.
Five presets, including Felt and Warps. Close, Room and Pad signals. Six controls and effects. Available in our easy-to-use plug-in. NKS compatible. ~7.45GB.
Available in the free Spitfire Audio app (VST/VST3, AU, AAX, and NKS supported), the Firewoord Piano is priced 29 USD/EUR/GBP.
