The Very Loud Indeed Co. has announced the release of a new soundset for the Zebra2 software synthesizer instrument from u-he.
Zebra Spiegel features 120 new cinematic patches inspired by scores by Hildur Guðnadóttir (Sicario: Day of the Soldado), Jóhann Jóhannsson (Mandy), Tyler Bates (John Wick 2) and Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (Waves).
The soundset covers a diverse range of styles within the thriller, action, horror and drama realms of cinematic composition.
Many patches in Zebra Spiegel use multiple Zebra lanes, so you can mute the lanes you don’t need if a patch is too busy for your purposes, or if you just want to use the sound in a particular lane. Zebra Spiegel also makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, it may completely change the patch into something totally different, so we encourage you to have fun with it.
The NKS-compatible Zebra Spiegel is available for purchase for $29 USD. Zebra + HZ Spiegel adds modified versions of the 120 patches for use with ZebraHZ. This collection is priced $39 USD.
