United Plugins has released an update to the Front DAW, an audio plugin that lets you turn DAW mixer into a real analog console.
Bringing saturation from 3 types of analog circuits, Front DAW is designed to be used on any number of channels of your projects. With version 2.2, United Plugins has upgraded the “Variable Analogue Random Modeling” technology and gave the plugin a facelift.
Thanks to VARM II, each plugin instance acts slightly different. It models the randomness of the subtle differences of the values in the electrical parts.
The update is free for existing users. New users can take advantage of a 60% discount at Plugin Boutique until September 26th, 2021.
A fully working 15-day trial version is available for download for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX). After the trial version expires the plugin will lose a few knobs and access to several settings, but you will be still able to use its saturation on your tracks.
