Splice Sounds has released The Wildcardz Sample Pack Vol. 1, which brings the soundscape of production duo’s The Wildcardz (Sadie Currey and Ester Na) musical productions and influences.
The Wildcardz are multi-instrumentalists who seamlessly weave together multiple genres like R&B, pop, electronic, and funk into one cohesive sound. Now they bring these sounds into their first sample pack with over 150 new sounds ready for your productions.
Always working on a variety of projects, their collaborators include RAYE, EXO and NCT127, John K, and 3LAU. They’ve also worked on Hollywood Blockbuster movies, Universal Pictures – Pitch Perfect III and Sing II, and 20th Century Fox – Bad Times at the El Royale, and TV shows Netflix “Gente-fied”, and NBC’s “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” Season 1.
A collaboration with Resident Advisor, KiNK’s Ingredients is a new title in the Building Blocks series of sample packs featuring dance music artists making waves in the scene and beyond.
Each artist has developed a pack that reflects their voice as a producer—a suite of sounds they’d use in their own tracks and live sets. Along with each pack, the artists are sharing videos and essays where they discuss all things samples and sampling, the process of making the pack, and their creative evolution from beginner to the present day.
For our next Building Blocks pack, we present KiNK – a producer and DJ based in Sofia, Bulgaria whose music spans house, techno, broken beat, and experimental stylings. Known for his rowdy live shows, the Bulgarian producer is the closest thing dance music has to a rock star.
