Splice has released a new sample pack by Colombian hitmaker, music producer, songwriter, and performer Ovy On The Drums aka Daniel Oviedo, who has produced for international stars such as Argentine singer Paulo Londra and Colombian reggaeton artist Karol G.
He produced Karol G’s hit single “Tusa” ft. Nicki Minaj, which was nominated for both Record of The Year and Song of The Year in the 2020 Latin GRAMMY Awards. He also produced Karol G’s Unstoppable album, which reached #2 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums Chart and Latin Rhythms Albums Chart. Most recently, he produced several tracks on her album KG0516, which is nominated for Best Música Urbana Album in the 2022 GRAMMY Awards.
Ovy on the Drums’ smooth, summery blend of reggaeton and pop quickly caught the attention of musicians and listeners throughout the world. By 2020, he had collaborated with artists like Ed Sheeran, Steve Aoki, Micro TDH, Becky G, Mau & Ricky, among others.
