Audified has launched an update to its family of plugins that simulate the devices and environment of your audience to help make your mix exceptional for everyone.
Version 1.2 of MixChecker features a redesigned and simplified UI that speeds up workflow. Below the hood it drops the original’s simpler, less precise impulse response engine in favor of a more precise, technologically advanced processing engine adapted from MixChecker Pro that takes into account the non-linear behavior of simulated devices using parallel warped filters, extended Weiner’s model calibration, and more extensive measurements.
MixChecker Pro‘s user interface has also been updated, with improved simulations of over 60 different devices, device distortion, and added background noise as the ultimate tool for checking reference mixes without resorting to extra exports.
Both versions benefit from lower latency and CPU consumption, with better and more stable performance as a result. The update also adds Apple Silicon (M1) and Windows 11 support.
MixChecker is on sale at Plugin Boutique for $39 USD (regular $79 USD), while MixChecker Pro is available for $69 USD instead of $145 USD until February 22nd, 2022. The plugins support VST3, AU, and AAX formats for Windows and Mac.
