2MGT/Metamusic Generative Tools has introduced a new analog-style sequencing tool. The latest instrument in a suite of experimental synthesizers for Windows, Modularis features a dual 16-step sequencer with a built in synths and the ability to control other software synthesizer via its MIDI out through a virtual MIDI cable.
With a dual layer random seed pad arpeggiator, Modularis has an extensive range of sound creation possibilities especially for Ambient, Berlin School as well as others genre of electronic music.
Free to download (the free version has some limitations), Modularis is available as a donationware standalone software for Windows. A 32-bit VST version is also available.
