Artisan Audio has launched a new sample pack titled Laboratory Beats, a collection of loops and one shots spanning a rich variety of drums, from IDM-tinted to totally stripped back, matched with trippy effects transmitted from another sonic universe, futuristic textures and breathless vocal samples.
Much respected for their dynamic, craftsman approach to sound design, Artisan Audio are proud to unveil Laboratory Beats, a typically sophisticated collection of experimental-leaning but dancefloor-adjacent loops, hits and patches that promise to take your productions in exciting new directions.
Focusing equally on rhythm and texture, the contents of Laboratory Beats are refreshingly fluid, disassociated with any particular genre but reminiscent of experimental electronica acts including Bonobo, Amon Tobin and Four Tet. Well suited to Trip Hop and Cinematic styles, although just as likely to add a sublime final touch to House and Techno productions.
