Homegrown Sounds has introduced its latest Kontakt instrument library Transition, a lightweight/low memory instrument designed around the idea of cross-fading between 2 waveforms using an LFO.
The included 127 waveforms were multi-sampled at 96khz from a Korg NTS-1 using various different Oscillator Models. They are single cycle & so use very little memory & sound very clean & strong. The NTS-1 is a great little synth that allows loading 3rd party oscillators & some of these are very interesting.
Transition is on sale for the intro price of $14.99 USD for a limited time (regular $29.99 USD).
Also available is Dalmatian is a collection of 218 multi-sampled oscillators sampled from the MS-1 by Behringer, a clone of the legendary SH-101 analog synthesizer from Roland.
These samples are then used to populate a dual synth Kontakt 6 Instrument. The instrument is designed to be simple, lightweight, yet capable. The samples are 96k for high quality & were then processed with Batch xFader using the newly implemented single Cycle mode. As a result the entire instrument is less than 10mb loaded into memory. Single cycles are small samples which capture the original oscillator with a small memory footprint.
Regularly priced $34.99 USD, Dalmatian is on sale for $19.99 USD for a limited time.
