Past To Future Samples has recently released some psychedelic drum sample libraries.
Psychedelic Disco Drums features the sounds of real drums mixed with electronic samples and drum machines. Using a vintage Tama kick, ’60s Supro Ludwig snare, and old Paiste Sound Edge hi-hats, the pack delivers the disco-driven rhythms of Currents.
A second volume in the series brings more crispy drums with a modern/vintage flavor. It features an insanely punchy vintage real Ludwig drums (super classic blue sparkle), ’60s Zildjian hi-hats and cymbals, and a vintage Lm400 supro snare mixed with drum machines.
Lastly, Melody’s Psychedelic Drums features a vintage Ludwig kit recorded with 3 toms. This Kontakt library (Wav files included) comes with a big and ballsy sound, inspired by the later albums of the French artist Melody Prochet, produced by the Swedish band Dungen.
The Psychedelic Disco Drums packs are available for purchase for $10 USD each, while Melody’s Psychedelic Drums is $15 USD.
