Loopmasters has launched new sample pack that captures the energy of the global phenomenon of Afro Deep, representing the deeper, more hypnotic side of Afro House, as played and pioneered by DJs including Mr. Afro Deep, DJ Karaba and Black Coffee.
With a sensual pace, this pack takes inspiration from the emerging Amapiano movements, as well as classic, Kwaito-inspired Afro House.
Well defined by bright, vibrant synth loops, elegantly swung djembe percussion and crisp, satisfying basslines, the royalty-free contents of Afro Deep features all the ingredients to curate a textured, dancefloor-friendly take on this evolving sound. Traditional instrumentation such as marimbas and shakers sit alongside locally sourced vocal loops, all recorded in crisp 44,1Khz quality.
Also released is the new VIBE series Post Disco Funk, a collection of royalty-free riffs and breaks that are rich in authenticity.
Charting sounds from the explosion of Boogie/Post-Disco/Funk from the 70s through to the 80s, Post Disco Funk from Loopmasters is a collection of loops and hits inspired by genre innovators including Zapp, Rick James and Dam Funk, and popularized by world-beating superstars like Prince, Michael Jackson and Cameo.
On this deeply groovy, universally appealing tribute, musicians Duncan White (Cornershop) and Phil Williams (Galaxian) tune up vintage studio gear including a Yamaha drum kit, Ibanez bass guitars, Rhodes Mk2, Korg SH101, Polymoogs and the timeless Juno 106 to record an expansive 1,57GB sound collection. Freaky, spiky electric guitar riffs rub alongside organic live drum work and wild synth work, allowing you to build a true collage of funk.
Afro Deep and Post Disco Funk are available to purchase for £29.95 GBP and £39.95 GBP, respectively. Parts are also sold separately from £7.95 GBP.
