McDSP has announced the release of an update to its range of audio effect plugins for Windows and Mac.
The latest v7 release from McDSP now includes support for both Intel and Apple silicon processors for the entire McDSP AAX plug-in product line. McDSP AAX plug-ins are universal binaries, and will run natively on either Apple hardware platform. The very latest v7.2.5 release adds a new caching system for AAX plug-ins for even faster loading in Pro Tools sessions, and many other improvements for AAX, AU, and VST3 formats.
McDSP v7 plug-ins already have native Intel and Apple silicon support for the AU and VST3 formats since their initial release.
The version 7.2.5 update is available to existing owners of V7 plugins. New users can purchase McDSP plugins at distributor Plugin Boutique and from the McDSP store at discounts of up to 45% off regular, with prices starting from $79 USD until March 31st, 2023.
