The Lower Rhythm has announced the release of Signals 2, an update to the virtual synthesizer instrument for Windows.
Intended to create incredibly intricate and lush pad sounds, Signals utilizes four oscillators (each with their own signal path) in conjunction with two powerful LFOs (30 possible destinations, 5 waveforms) and an LFO-modulated global delay with filter cutoff. Each oscillator has its own waveform selector (5 shapes), tuning control, lowpass filter, modulation depth control and volume envelope. If you’re looking for a synth that can effortlessly mix warm, analog pads with celestial modulation or grinding glitch *and* switch into mono mode to use the same tone-shaping tools to meet another end, look no further.
Changes in Signals 2
- 10 brand new presets as well as the original 20 re-envisioned.
- Streamlined sound engine for improved CPU and functionality.
- Cutoff filter for the global delay.
- LFO destinations refined and now labeled.
- Mono mode added.
- Improved interface.
Signals 2 is available to purchase as a VST instrument plug-in for Windows PC for $19.99 USD. A fully functional and unlimited demo version can be downloaded from The Lower Rhythm.
