discoDSP has announced an update to its Nord Lead 2 inspired Discovery Pro, a software synthesizer and sampler that aims to deliver unparalleled sound quality and versatility.
Version 7.8 introduces a new Silver Haze skin designed by Ilkka Rosma, alongside an updated and enhanced default Nordic Dawn skin, and a new Shadow Wave skin.
The update also brings the following changes:
- Updated and new skins now support high-resolution displays with 30x and 40x assets for 1.5x and 2x GUI sizes.
- Fixed the standalone program change function for seamless performance.
- Resolved the Quick Stack behavior issue. The current layer now blinks to indicate its active state.
- Added octave submenus to the Custom Key Split dropdown, providing more flexibility.
- Clicking the Key Split dropdown or LED now cycles between Off, Dual, Custom, and Custom (edit) states.
- Implemented various minor fixes and enhancements for an improved user experience.
Discovery Pro for Windows, Mac and Linux (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is priced $149 USD at the discoDSP store and from distributors PluginFox and ADSR Sounds.
