Cableguys has announced the release of a brand new expansion pack for the ShaperBox multi effect plugin for modern mixes and infinite inspiration.
Crafted by pro sound designers InsideInfo, Cyclick and Andi Vax, as well as Cableguys’ own in-house team, the free Builds & Risers preset expansion contains 86 transition tools to enhance your arrangements and drops.
“Builds” are designed to be applied to existing sounds – or even to the master mix – transforming them into soaring build-ups and ear candy FX. “Risers”, meanwhile, are loaded on their own track to generate tempo-synced whooshes, swelling noise textures and reverse cymbals, for instant tension building.
A key advantage over static FX samples is that users can edit the curves of each preset, to tailor the flow to fit their music.
Builds & Risers is free with a purchase of ShaperBox 3, while existing owners can download the expansion for free by clicking the Sync button in the updated version of ShaperBox.
Version 3.3.1 includes the following changes:
- CPU load is reduced with optimized General and Complex Audio Trigger algorithms.
- Presets are pre-selected in the Browser when a project is reopened, so you can continue browsing from where you left off.
- The Pan/Haas slider in PanShaper gives clearer feedback of its setting, for easier setup.
- Oscilloscope waveforms remain on screen until the LFO is triggered again, making it easier to edit your curves to fit kick drums, for example.
- Triplet grid is now a single menu option, simplifying operation. Additionally, triplet support is improved, with main beats/bars always highlighted for Straight timings. Dotted timings always highlight the three main subdivisions, and true musical triplets are now possible in these timings.
- Minor bugs fixed.
