Blue Cat Audio has announced a free update for its “re-guitaring” tone modeling plugin capable of emulating an infinite number of guitars out of a single instrument.
Version 1.3 of Re-Guitar supports any type of piezo pickup as input, allowing you to get real acoustic guitar tones out of direct piezo recordings.
The Re-Guitar plug-in lets you transform the sound of piezo pickups by either selecting some pre-defined acoustic guitar models or create your own. Forget about microphones and room acoustics, you can now enjoy the tone of your acoustic guitar when directly plugged into your audio interface, just like any electric guitar player!
And of course it still works very well with magnetic pickups, to turn your electric guitar into a completely different instrument, even a hollow body jazz guitar!
This new version also includes improvements for the hollow body simulation and a few other enhancements.
The update is free to existing users of Re-Guitar. New customers can purchase the plugin (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) at a 30% discount, priced 69 USD/EUR until August 17th, 2023.
