Nembrini Audio has introduced a new guitar amplifier effect plugin based on a Mesa Boogie Tri Axis preamplifier.
The Cali Axis features 8 separate modes to deliver the elusive creamy gain of the Mk I, the heralded focus of the Mk I, the scooped Rhythm of the Mk IV, and a modified British lead mode.
Cali Axis is powered by four EL34 virtual tubes with presence, resonance, volume and power switch in class AB push-pull configuration. A Modern button changes the negative feedback in a way to have a more “modern” presence behavior.
The plugin features an effect section with digital delay, analog modulations, ambient reverb, filters, analog noise gate and studio compressor, 6 different guitar cabinets and 4 microphone emulations, and an impulse response loader for loading 3rd party IRs.
Cali Axis for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale for the intro price of $29.99 USD until August 31st, 2023 (regular $137 USD). The iOS/AUv3 version is $9.99 USD at the App Store.
