99Sounds has announced the release of a new drum rompler instrument for Windows and Mac. A collaboration with SampleScience, Drumplayer features a collection of 20 drum kits with drum sounds from the free 99 Drum Samples sample library.
Drumplayer includes twenty drum kits suitable for hip-hop, electronic, lo-fi, glitch, and experimental music. Each kit consists of fourteen sounds, including (but not limited to) kicks, snares, hi-hats, and percussion.
Drumplayer also features a 14-channel mixer with volume and stereo pan controls for each channel. The drums can be routed to AUX channels for additional processing in your digital audio workstation.
The Drumplayer plugin is a free download in VST/AU plugin formats. Additionally, 99Sounds has recently released some new sample libraries.
- City Sounds is a free collection of 42 city sound effects recorded by Marcel of Free To Use Sounds.
- Water Sounds contains 45 looped water sounds, including ocean sounds, river sounds, and water stream sounds recorded by Régis Royer.
The new packs join a wide selection of sound libraries, with over 40 packs currently available to download at no charge.
