Past To Future Samples has launched its new sample library Slowed Rush Drums, which brings “one of the coolest drum sounds ever” to your DAW.
60’s Ludwig Super Classic Blue Sparkle kit with vintage Zildjian and Paiste cymbals (we also sampled an additional 13-inch rack tom along with the 12-inch rack tom and the floor tom), recorded with all the mics and gear used on the album, ran through Revox B77 tape machine, Neve preamps, and Dbx165a vintage compressors!
We recorded some snaps and hand claps that go well with the snare, and also some funky Conga percussion for the first time in our libraries!
Also released recently is Arctic Drums, a Kontakt instrument library that was inspired by the vintage but modern drum recording vibe as heard on the Arctic Monkeys’ album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
Vintage 60’s Gretsch drums with various Paiste and Zildjian cymbals, recorded with many articulations and round robins, a bunch of vintage and modern microphones, and an incredible 2-inch tape machine!
Priced $15 USD each, the sample libraries are available for the full version of Kontakt. Wav files are also included for use in other software/hardware.
