We have enhanced the precision of parameter control by adjusting the component values in the original circuits. This allows us to combine the flexibility required by a modern mixing EQ with the distinctive sound of each of the original models, providing you with the ability to compare three very different EQs with the assurance of always having exactly the same settings, no matter what they may be. Also, frequency and gain changes are kept to a minimum!
‘Salt is a powerhouse with 16,000 samples, and consider that our consultants spend 90 seconds sampling each one. These are devices that we have never sampled before, and never in this manner: we opened the devices, manually replacing resistors and capacitors to introduce a virtual Q where it was lacking. We embarked on a monumental task to match frequencies and gains of three different units for every single sample.
