Kuassa has released a new Efektor series effect that is designed to replicate the sound and feel of classic fuzz, distortion, and sustainer pedals, which are celebrated for their unique blend of funkiness, softness, and a muffled tone quality.
The Efektor Moon Muffin delivers 10 iterations and mods of the big sustainer pedals, offering users a wide range of distortion sounds from velvety-warm to blistering saturation.
The plugin’s key features include ten types of authentic big sustainer variants, with models such as the V1 TRI REF (Triangle pi reference board), V2 RAM 47 (Ram’s face 47nf version), and the V7 RUS BLK (Russian black version), among others. Each model aims to faithfully recreate the characteristic sound of its real-world counterpart. Additionally, the Efektor Moon Muffin also supports up to 8x oversampling for enhanced audio quality, a Dry/Wet control for optimal signal blending, a resizable interface for user convenience, and a straightforward single-screen GUI for ease of use.
Available as an Amplifikation 360 module, the Efektor Moon Muffin integrates seamlessly into Kuassa’s guitar processing platform, Amplifikation 360, to expand its utility for guitarists seeking versatile sound sculpting tools and combination presets.
Efektor Moon Muffin for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX) is on sale for the intro price of $19 USD until April 11th, 2024 (regular $39 USD). The offer is available at the Kuassa store and from Plugin Boutique.
