Music Instinct has released a virtual instrument that aims to revitalize the classic 303 sound for today’s music producers.
Powered by a high-quality, alias-free waveform engine, Mi-03 offers both the original’s renowned tones and additional shape options for extended sound design capabilities.
At it’s core, the Mi-03 is a simple subtractive monophonic synthesiser. A long list of features might sound good on paper, but too many options can stifle creativity. The Mi-03 doesn’t try to do everything. Important design decisions have been made, but with just enough creative control to craft your own unique sound.
Well suited for producing detailed basslines and leads, the plugin comes with an enhanced sequencer for creating acid patterns, and a built-in distortion engine with flexible routing is included to add a layer of grit and character to your sounds.
Available for Windows and Mac in VST3 and AU plugin formats, Mi-03 is a “pay what you like” download, including free.
