Dank Beats spans a versatile tempo range from 70 to 160 BPM, making it suitable for a wide variety of hip-hop styles. It features drum breaks that bring raw, unfiltered energy to your tracks. Each drum break has been carefully processed to retain its authentic vintage character, ensuring your beats hit with a unique, retro flair. Complementing the drums are vintage hat loops, crisp claps, and diverse mixed percussion that add a smooth, rhythmic flow to your compositions.
For this pack, there was heavy usage of saturation which gives the sound more of a ‘crunch’, but also drum warping and frequency shifting as well as convolution reverb were incorporated to create a unique soundscape. To produce that retro sound, the drum kit was put through a desk to include some tape noise.
