KV331 Audio has launched another revision of its upcoming SynthMaster 3 software synthesizer instrument for Windows and Mac, which is currently in beta.
Revision 15436 comes with new factory presets and samples by New Loops, some new additions and various critical bug fixes.
SynthMaster 3 is KV331 Audio’s flagship all-around modular software synthesizer available in VST2, VST3, AudioUnits and AAX formats. It features many different synthesis methods including VAnalog, Additive, Vector, Wavetable, Granular, Phase Modulation, Phase Distortion, Frequency Modulation, Pulse Width Modulation, Ring Modulation, Physical Modeling and SFZ Sample Playback.

- New: Added drag-n-drop single sample import for granular sample view.

- Fix: Preset bank names are not sorted on MacOS.

- Fix: SynthMaster 3 might generate out of bounds values when converting basic/additive/vector oscillators to wavetable oscillator.
- Fix: SynthMaster 3 might crash when the number of frames in a wavetable is set to 2.
- Fix: SynthMaster 3 might crash when a preset is initialized.
- Fix: When 2 insert effects are swapped, their settings are lost.
- Fix: Filter cutoff default value should be at maximum value for digital/state variable/ladder/diode ladder/bite filters.
SynthMaster 3 is available to purchase for $89 USD while in beta (regular $179 USD). A purchase also includes 3 free expansions, and a license for SynthMaster 2. Existing SynthMaster 2 owners can upgrade for $29 USD until September 1st, 2024.
