Sampleson has announced an update to its tonewheel organ emulation. Version 2 of CollaB3 comes packed with an overhauled sound engine and a brand-new rotary speaker emulation.
The update includes a rebuilt spectral-modeled sound engine, new key-click noises and leakage, and improved CPU efficiency. It features a new modeled rotary emulation, amp circuit emulation with distortion, wood cabinet resonance impulse responses, 7 rotary tweaking parameters, and 4 mic positions/combinations.
Available for Windows and Mac (VST/AU), CollaB3 is free to download.
Priced $10 USD, the Pro version comes with a detailed rotary editing panel, distortion amount slider, speed for each rotary speaker, speaker mix (drum/horns), and 4 sets of mic positions and combinations.
