Yurt Rock has introduced a new Pro Tools Drum Sessions collection featuring mixed, arranged and edited drum sessions featuring iconic grooves and sounds. Pro Tools Sessions: Bonhamology Drums Vol. 1 aims to help you instantly integrate world-class drum performances into your productions.
This collection includes 7 custom Pro Tools sessions, each fully mixed, edited, and arranged into song formats, giving you the ability to open any session and start recording immediately. With 16 tracks of pristine audio per session, you’ll have total control over the drum mix, enabling you to craft the perfect sound for your tracks.
For this release, we partnered with Chicago-based drummer extraordinaire and Bonham aficionado, George Fludas, who performed all the grooves, fills, and samples. The sessions were recorded at Steve Albini’s legendary Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, using a vintage 1971 Ludwig Maple Thermogloss drum kit, paired with early ’70s black label Paiste 2002s and late ’60s Giant Beat Cymbals—mirroring John Bonham’s iconic setup. The result? A massive, powerful sound that brings the essence of Bonham’s drumming into your productions.
The sample library is on sale for the intro price of $59 USD for a limited time (regular $89 USD).
