Decent Samples has introduced a new drum instrument library for the free Decent Sampler. Indie Drums is a premium sample library that brings authentic indie rock drum sounds to your productions.
“As many of you know, I’m a rock songwriter who produces his own songs. I can sing, I can play guitar or bass, but when it comes to playing a drum kit, I’m hopeless. Which is unfortunate, because drums are one of the most important elements in any rock recording.
To get around this, I use a variety of different drum samples, but, up until recently, I haven’t been fully happy with anything I had at my disposal. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect indie rock drum sound, so I was very excited when I stumbled on Tom Wagner’s fantastic Instagram channel: both his playing and his kit sounded exactly like what I had been looking for. I immediately reached out and asked if he would be open to putting together a sample library.
The library is priced $20 USD. Also available is the Strayer Guitar, a free library that offers the beautiful clean sound of a home-made electric guitar.
