The Him DSP has announced the release of updates of its audio plugins, adding much requested features.
Kick Ninja offers full control over every aspect of your kick drums. It allows you to import any kick sample and recreate your favorite kicks. Sub Ninja is a visual tool designed to help you nail the mix of your sub/bass and kicks.
Changes in Kick Ninja v1.2.0
- New filter modes for the global fx and sample layers. All the filters now have 12/24/48 dB modes with resonance settings for making them ZAP!
- New pitchtracking modes: The new “default” pitch tracking mode lets you repitch the whole pitch envelope (with the global and/or OSC pitch sliders). The new “sampler” mode does the same as the above, but also scales the entire pitch curve up and down based on the keyboard.
- New main output gain slider (bottom right): acts as a separate volume control for Kick Ninja without affecting your sample export.
- Top layers are now saved in a different folder.
- Some small fixes and improvements.
Changes in Sub Ninja v1.2.0
- Filter audition: hit the listen button to hear the current setting of the low pass filter.
- Hide second waveform: added an option in the top right menu to only show one waveform.
- Gridlines a bit more visible, added minimum size to window.
- Small bug fixes, and tweaks.
The updates are free for existing owners of the plugins. New customers can purchase Kick Ninja ($59.99 USD) and Sub Ninja ($29.99 USD), or a bundle of both ($69.99 USD) at Plugin Boutique and from The Him DSP store.
