Spitfire Audio has introduced LABS’ second collaboration with Ólafur Arnalds’ OPIA Community.
OPIA Wandering brings a collection of wandering sounds on the theme of travelling, created in collaboration with some of the OPIA artists performing at the last OPIA festival (Utrecht, June 2nd).
We asked the artists to provide a sound on the theme of ‘travelling’ – from sounds of the rainforest to a Balinese Gamelan used in Kiasmos’s latest album – which we then pulled, stretched and mangled into 13 unique and wandering presets.
Featuring sounds from: Davidsson, Eydís, Kiasmos, Lara Somogyi, Martijn Naber, Robin Scherpen, Sandrayati, Shida Shahabi, Sofi Paez, Svaneborg Kardyb, Zuzanna Całka.
