Ginger Audio has launched an update to its monitor control software for Mac.
Version 2 of Sphere supports up to 8 simultaneous audio interfaces, delivering powerful, professional-grade tools for both stereo and immersive audio production.
With a streamlined, software-based solution, Sphere v2 simplifies complex setups, offering advanced speaker control, calibration, and communication for today’s studios.
Sphere v2, Ginger Audio’s speaker management application, removes cost barriers for immersive mixing, simplifying speaker management and integration for Atmos mixing. Sphere enables studios to use or supplement existing audio interfaces, reducing the need for costly hardware replacements.

- iRenderer is now integrated into our new downmix outputs. we also added a Dolby Direct fold-down option.
- Continued support of third-party plugins or built-in tools for speaker calibration, room simulation, metering, and downmixing.
- Continued support of control monitor functions via StreamDeck, Eucon, MIDI, OSC controllers, or the Sphere Connect iOS and Android app.
Sphere 2 is available now with various price plans, starting from $19.90 USD/month. A free 14-day trial version of Sphere 2 is available to try the software.
