Time+Space has announced a new distribution agreement with premium sound library specialists Soundiron.
The deal, which applies to all boxed Soundiron libraries including the critically acclaimed Mars Symphonic Men’s Choir, Apocalypse Percussion Ensemble and the recently released Venus Symphonic Women’s Choir, is the first of its kind for Soundiron as the company continues to strengthen its presence in the MI market.
The agreement also sees an extension to Time+Space’s existing and unique “+digital” service. The new system, which was developed in partnership with digital delivery specialists Continuata, means customers who prefer to have a boxed product as a backup no longer have to wait for their content. Once the DVD has been paid for on the Time+Space website, the customer is automatically emailed a link to download the product straight away.
Of the new deal, Time+Space Marketing Manager, Melanie Doidge, said “A large proportion of our customers are composing for film, TV and video games so having a well respected and growing company such as Soundiron on board is a perfect match for Time+Space. What’s more, in an industry of tight deadlines we know how important it is for composers to maintain a steady workflow so we’re pleased to be able to offer our customers a service that means they can still buy DVDs but no longer have to wait for their content.”
The agreement also means that Soundiron libraries will now be available to buy from UK music industry retailers for the first time.
