Cockos has released REAPER, a powerful Windows application for multitrack recording and editing of audio with many features for both amateurs and professionals.

- Installer: check to see if REAPER is running before installing
- Added “Track” to top level insert menu
- Option (prefs/defaults) to crossfade items when splitting
- Added some other JS fx (autoloop, loop samplers, etc.)

- Fixed bug where certain editing operations would stop playback
- Control surfaces: option for surface update frequency (default is now 15hz)
- Reaverb: fixed state loading for reverse

- MIDI editor: highlight of last clicked note
- MIDI editor: note editor dialog (via F2 or context menu)
