kiloHearts has announced the release of Tape Stop, a tape stop effect plugin for Windows and Mac.
Is your track so fire you just want to pause it for a couple of hundred of milliseconds to let people catch their breath? Never has it been easier to add a Tape Stop effect to your sounds. Tape slowdown and even startup sound is just just a press of an (automatable) button away.
Both the duration and speed curve of the start/stop effect can be tweaked easily to get the exact character you want. And hey, since it’s a Snapin you can throw it into Snap Heap or Multipass and modulate the play button which is… kind of weird.
Tape Stop is available as a snapin for Multipass and Snap Heap. It can also be used as a regular VST/AU plugin, priced at 17 EUR.
