Applied Acoustics Systems has announced an update to its modular synthesizer instrument and effect for Windows and macOS.
Version 2.1 of Multiphonics CV-2 is dedicated to waveshaping, bringing 5 new modules to Multiphonics’ library:
- Waveshaper module, a West Coast synthesis staple supporting parallel, series, and digital topologies.
- West Coast inspired Wavewrapper module.
- Multi-purpose CV Shaper module for CV signals.
- Stereo Rectifier module with bias control.
- μScope module, a small and convenient oscilloscope for visualizing waveforms and signals in general.
The update also includes 30 new factory synthesizer and effects patches highlighting these new modules.
Multiphonics CV-2 comes in VST/VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats. It is on sale for $99 USD instead of $149 USD during a Summer Sale. The update is free of charge for registered Multiphonics CV-2 users and is available directly from the AAS user portal.
