accSone has announced the release of an update to its granular synthesizer plugin. Version 11.1 of crusher-X improves the DCO workflow and layout and decoupled the ADSR and MIDI-Key handling from the morph system.
That allows smoother granular morphs while playing with the synth.
It also optimized the latency on close to real-time Programs (for unpitched grains and Delay modulation around 0). It adds high-resolution rendering for the macOS standalone version and adds stereo file playback support also for the additional DCOs 2-8.
The update is free for crusher-X 11 licensees, and new customers can purchase crusher-X for 349 EUR. Owners of older versions of crusher-X can upgrade/crossgrade for 129 EUR.
