Acon Digital has announced an update to the Multiply free chorus plugin. Each simulated voice in Multiply is processed with a phase randomizing filter so that unpleasant comb filter effects are reduced.
Multiply was first released as an entry in the KVR Audio Developer Contest in 2014 where it received the 1st prize.
The new version now supports VST3 along with VST2, Audio Units and AAX. It is also fully compatible with macOS Catalina. The equalizer section has been improved and now offers five fully parametric bands with variable filter slopes. A new integrated level meter makes it easy to monitor the output level. The preset section was enhanced with a new search button and the possibility to copy and paste presets using the the clipboard.
