Acousticsamples has announced the release of VHorns Brass Section, a realistic and easy-to-play horns instrument library for the free UVI Workstation software.
VHorns Brass Section features Acousticsamples’ HAT (Harmonic Alignment Technology), a hybrid approach which combines real samples (sound source) and modeling techniques.
The instrument library includes 2 Flugelhorns, 2 Trombones and 2 Trumpets. Each instrument has a distinct tone, and was recorded by a different musician.
Our goal was to make great, authentic sounding horns with a simple and powerful way to play them. Our HAT technology allows us to achieve that and accurately reproduce the evolution of each one’s timbre from very to soft to loud playing. VHorns is not another heavily multi-sampled instrument – you can play the articulations yourself like a player would, only with a MIDI controller (or by drawing it in). No complicated key switches here.
The user can take control of these 6 instruments with Air Flow Control, Authentic Vibrato, Legato Transitions, Multi Microphone Recording, Virtual Spaces, Mutes, Advanced Editing, MIDI Controllers (keyboard, breath or wind controller), Ensembles and more.
VHorns Brass Section is available for purchase at an introductory price of 149 EUR / $179 USD until November 29th, 2021 (regular 199 EUR / $229 USD). The Trumpets, Trombones, and Flugelhorns are also available separately at a discount during the promotion.
