Acustica Audio has announced the launch of a Black Friday Super Sale, offering discount of up to 80% on its products for the next few days.
The sale includes the newly released Gainstation and Gainstation Boost.
Developed in collaboration with Studio DMI and producer Mike Dean (Kanye West, 2Pac, Scarface, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Jay-Z, Drake), Gainstation and Gainstation Boost are design to deliver distortion, saturation and creative sound mangling.
Gainstation comes with 5 different sections for ultimate creative control.
A dedicated preamp section lets you change the overall input and output levels from -24/+24 dB. The Input preamp trim control allows you to increase and decrease the harmonic distortion of the preamp by easily adding ‘coloration’ to your source.
The EQ section comprises two Pultec-style bands: a BASS++ band plus an AIR++ band. The bass portion influences both the low frequency response and the amount of harmonic distortion as it features an integrated preamp emulation. To increase the level of harmonics, just choose one of the four included emulations and fiddle with the ‘Preamp Input Trim’ control.
Gainstation Boost is one-knob-shop for distortion and saturation, featuring two controls for hyper-fast workflow and immediate punch.
The BOOST knob lets you simultaneously vary the amount of EQ applied (BASS++ is fixed at 60 Hz and AIR++ is fixed at 10k Hz) up to approx +16dB of gain for the Low band and +11dB for the High Band, while increasing the harmonic distortion.
